Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2010-11-08: GGN7467, Beech 1900D, enroute from Halifax (CYHZ) to Moncton (CYQM), reported that the flaps were stuck in the down position. No emergency was declared and no assistance was required. On approach to Runway 24 in Moncton, the pilot reported moderate to severe turbulence. The aircraft landed without incident.
2011-03-09: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: After departure flaps remained at 17 degrees and would not retract, on Beech 1900D C-GORI S/N UE-47. Flap system was deferred in accordance with MEL 27-02, and later rectified by cleaning the safety switch. Aircraft returned to service following ground test.
