Incident at 61N/58W (Montreal ACC)


2010-11-01: KLM47, Boeing 747-400, enroute from Amsterdam (EHAM) to Chicago (KORD), reported an engine shutdown due to a technical problem. No emergency was declared or priority requested. There was no impact on operations.
2010-11-26: UPDATE TSB: A10A0116: KLM47, a Royal Dutch Airlines Boeing 747-400, was en route from Amsterdam to Chicago when the flight crew advised that they had shut down an engine due to a technical problem. They crew did not declare an emergency nor did they require any assistance. The aircraft exited Canadian airspace without further incident. The incident had occurred near the Gander and Montreal ACC boundary in Gander airspace. The aircraft registration, engine type, and the engine that malfunctioned are unknown.
