2010-11-26: UPDATE TSB: A10A0116: KLM47, a Royal Dutch Airlines Boeing 747-400, was en route from Amsterdam to Chicago when the flight crew advised that they had shut down an engine due to a technical problem. They crew did not declare an emergency nor did they require any assistance. The aircraft exited Canadian airspace without further incident. The incident had occurred near the Gander and Montreal ACC boundary in Gander airspace. The aircraft registration, engine type, and the engine that malfunctioned are unknown.
