Incident at 4913/06302 (Communication navigation surveillance/air traffic system)
Summary
2010-11-01: COA82, Boeing 777-200, enroute from Newark (KEWR) to New Delhi (VIDP), was observed proceeding to waypoint STEAM. The route received from Boston was TOPPS N137B REDBY CARPE. The pilot advised that the flight was cleared on his ICAO flight plan TOPPS N149B STEAM OYSTR. Boston was contacted and they advised that they had two flight plans both with a routing TOPPS REDBY CARPE. The ICAO flight plan was acquired over the Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network (AFTN) from the airline operator?s dispatch with the routing TOPPS STEAM OYSTR.
