Summary
2010-10-12: UPDATE TSB: A10A0105: ACA1198, an Air Canada Embraer E190, was en route from St. John's NL to Toronto when the flight crew requested a clearance to descend below RVSM airspace due to failure of the auto flight control system. The oven circuit breaker was opened after which the odor dissipated. The flight continued to the destination and landed safely without further incident. Maintenance personnel reset the circuit breakers and selected the rear galley oven and coffee makers to on; however, the fault could not be repeated. The aircraft has since been returned to service.
