Incident at Tatamagouche Area (Other operational incident)

Summary

2010-09-27: The Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) and the police contacted the Moncton Area Control Centre (ACC) with reports of a possible downed aircraft in the Tatamagouche area. It was described as a small single engine aircraft. The RCC sent an observer to check the report. All the local airports were notified as well as the Halifax Flight Information Centre (FIC). There were no reports of any missing aircraft (IFR or VFR).
