Incident at 20 Miles East of Fredericton (CYFC) (Weather balloon, meteor, rocket, CIRVIS/UFO)
Summary
2010-09-27: At approximately 20 nautical miles east of Fredericton WJA201, Boeing 737 7CT, enroute from Moncton (CYQM) to Toronto (CYYZ), reported sighting what appeared to be a weather balloon. The aircraft flew over it at 29,500 ft. in the climb to 40,000 ft. The pilot reported that there was what appeared to be electronics suspended from it but that it appeared to be a weather balloon.
