Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Summary
2010-09-20: C-FEGL, Diamond DA 20 C1, enroute from Fredericton (CYFC) to Moncton (CYQM), landed on Runway 29 and advised the tower of a possible electrical fire. C-FEGL taxied off Runway 29 and the fire hall responded and advised that there was no electrical fire. There was no impact on operations.
2010-09-24: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: Wiring and electrical systems throughout the aircraft were inspected with no burnt wires or other defects found. A muffler inspection was also carried out with no issues found. The aircraft was ground run but the issue could not be duplicated. The aircraft was released back into service and there has been no further issues.
