Incident at JEBBY Intersection (ATS operating irregularity)
Summary
2010-09-13: The New York Air Route Traffic Control Centre (ARTCC) passed an estimate to the Moncton Area Control Centre (ACC) for DAL163, Boeing 757-200, enroute from Malaga (LEMG) to New York (KJFK) at 35,000 ft. and then revised the level to 37,000 ft. The flight data strip was not updated and the aircraft entered the airspace at 37,000 ft. after another controller had taken over the sector. No other traffic was in the vicinity.
