Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (Aerodrome - other)
Summary
2010-08-31: Fredericton tower was advised by C-FMPH, a helicopter on the apron that he could see some balloons launch from the apron heading eastbound. Tower was not aware of the balloon release. C-GMMX DA20 local flight, was right downwind Runway 33 and was issued a 360 degree turn to ensure separation from the balloons. The balloons eventually disappeared to the east of the airport. Nil TSB
