Summary
2010-08-30: COA40 B767-400 was enroute Newark (KEWR) to Roma (LIRF) while DAL2 B767-400 was enroute London (EGLL) to New-York (KJFK) on reciprocal tracks at 34,000 feet. Altitude of eastbound aircraft not identified as inappropriate to direction of flight. Situation not recognized until conflict alert was triggered. Both aircraft vectored until separation established, then recleared on course. TSB Case Closed.
