Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT)


2010-09-07: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: The flight crew experienced number-2 engine fluctuations during the take-off roll. The aircraft returned to the hangar. Maintenance inspected the number-2 engine rigging. No faults were found. Engine runs and high speed taxi checks were carried out; with no faults found. It was confirmed afterwards that the fuel system was bypassing as per normal operation. The flight crew did not notice the fuel bypass lights illuminated as these lights were selected to the "Dim" position during this daytime occurrence.
2010-08-09: SPR900, Fairchild SA227AC, enroute from St. John?s (CYYT) to Goose Bay (CYYR), rejected take off due to a gauge indication and returned to the apron. No assistance was required and there was no impact on operations.
