Incident at WATERVILLE / KINGS CO MUNI NS (CCW3)
Summary
2010-08-03: C-FIND, a VFR Cessna 172G, was lost and squawked the emergency code and called 'MAYDAY' with the Halifax Flight Information Centre. The aircraft was communicating on frequency 121.5 with the Saint John Flight Service Station (FSS) that contacted the Saint John sector. The FSS was advised of the aircraft position on Radar and provided the frequencies to contact. The information was relayed to the aircraft through a Jazz flight in high-level airspace on 121.5 to contact the Greenwood Terminal Control Unit (TCU) on frequency 120.6. Greenwood gave the aircraft the vectors to Waterville (CCW3). NORAD was advised. The aircraft arrived at Waterville at 20:55Z.
