Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)

Summary

2010-08-03: C-FNDC, Diamond DA 20 C1, landed on Runway 27 in Fredericton (CYFC) but was unable to exit the runway due to the engine cutting out. C-FDRN was cleared for a low approach with restriction. C-FNDC vacated the runway under its own power at 14:07Z. There was no other impact on operations.
2010-08-09: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: The engine was inspected and fuel pressure was adjusted. Some of the problems with engine malfunctions has been the result of the pilot forgetting to push the mixture back to full rich prior to landing. The flight operations unit is reviewing this issue.
