Incident at WABUSH NL (CYWK)


2010-07-19: UPDATE Commercial & Business Aviation: The aircraft rejected the takeoff in Wabush due to a Flight Attendant Emergency Call button illumination. During the take off roll some drink cans had become loose and were punctured spraying their contents around the cabin. The Flight Attendant advised the cockpit with the emergency call button. The flight crew rejected the takeoff and the cabin was cleaned.
2010-07-19: At 21:58Z SPR911, SAAB SF340A, enroute from Wabush (CYWK) to Montreal (CYUL), rejected takeoff roll on Runway 18 and returned to the ramp for commissary issues. The Montreal Area Control Centre was notified. SPR911 departed at 22:04Z. There was no impact on operations.
