Incident at 8 miles west of Charlottetown (CYYG)

Summary

2010-07-19: C-GMFB, Diamond DA 20 C1, completed a touch-and-go maneuver at Charlottetown (CYYG) and was enroute back to Moncton (CYQM). Eight miles west of Charlottetown, the pilot requested to return due to weather (15 BKN). The Flight Service Station (FSS) contacted the Moncton Area Control Centre (ACC) that relayed with information from another aircraft further to the west. The controller provided navigational assistance and the pilot continued to Moncton without further incident.
