Incident at CHARLOTTETOWN AIRPORT
Summary
2010-07-02: A Canadian registered, Diamond DA 40, enroute from Rivière-du-Loup (CYRI) to Charlottetown (CYYG), on initial contact with the Flight Service Station (FSS), reported five miles entering the Mandatory Frequency (MF) area at 18:48Z and landed on Runway 28 at 18:54Z. Four other aircraft were operating within 10 miles of the airport and were in contact with the FSS. C-GSPB passed in close proximity to C-FNBP, a Cessna 152, which was seven miles west of Charlottetown before contacting the FSS.
