2010-06-28: The Moncton Area Control Centre (ACC) controller identified that DAL251, Airbus A330; enroute from Athens (LGAV) to New York (KJFK) was south of course. The controller asked the pilot to confirm the route he was flying. The pilot responded DRCT HUL. Control strips showed the route as DRCT MIILS DRCT HUL. The Moncton supervisor confirmed with the Gander supervisor the route that was given to the pilot. The Gander supervisor investigated and confirmed the pilot was given DRCT MIILS on course, which was read back by the pilot. Radar separation was maintained at all times and there was no impact on operations.
