Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Summary
2010-07-13: UPDATE TSB: A10A0073: The Moncton Flight College Diamond Aircraft, DA40, (C-GYCS), landed on rwy 24 and was instructed to exit DELTA taxiway and hold short of rwy 29. The pilot read back the clearance. The 727-100 Morningstar Air Express, flight 7054, (C-FMEY), inbound from Halifax was then cleared to land rwy 29. C-GYCS was observed crossing the hold short line for rwy 29 and was told again to hold short of rwy 29. C-GYCS stopped about 100 ft short of the edge of rwy 29. C-FMEY was given the details of the position of C-GYCS and landed on rwy 29 without further incident.
2010-06-28: C-GYCS, Diamond DA 20 C1, landed on Runway 24 and was instructed to exit DELTA Taxiway and hold short of Runway 29. C-GYCS read back the hold short restriction. MAL7054, Boeing 727-200, enroute from Halifax (CYHZ) to Moncton (CYQM) was then cleared to land on Runway 29. C-GYCS was observed crossing the hold short line for Runway 29 and was told again to hold short of Runway 29. C-GYCS stopped about 100 feet short of the edge of Runway 29. MAL7054 was give the details of the position of C-GYCS and landed on Runway 29 without further incident. TSB Case Closed.
