Incident at GANDER INTL NL (CYQX)

Summary

2010-06-22: N745AS, Cessna 337H was enroute from Goose Bay (CYYR) to Narsarsuaq (BGBW) at 11,000 ft. At 53W, the aircraft reported the loss of one engine and requested clearance to return to Goose Bay at 6,000 ft. The aircraft was cleared direct to Goose Bay and landed without incident at 13:03Z. TSB Case Closed.
2010-06-24: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: The pilot thought there was a problem was with the fuel injectors so he shut the engine down. The pilot started and ran the engine after landing and it ran okay. The fuel filters were cleaned and the aircraft was run again and the pilot conducted a test flight. The aircraft continued to Narsarsuaq.
2010-07-06: UPDATE TSB: A10A0069: An AirScan Cessna 337H, (Registration N745AS) was en route from Goose Bay to Narssarssuaq at 11000 feet when the engine's number one cylinder's exhaust gas temperature and cylinder head temperature began decreasing below normal operating limits. The engine (Teledyne Continental IO-360 SER) was shut down and the aircraft proceeded to Goose Bay at 6000 feet where the aircraft landed at 1003 ADT. The crew reported the engine had a clogged injector which was cleaned and the aircraft operated normally thereafter.
