Incident at 5630N 05243W

Summary

2010-06-10: ACA874, Boeing 777-333ER, enroute from Montreal (CYUL) to Frankfurt (EDDF), was operating on NAT Track "S" at 35,000 when shortly after passing LOACH intersection, the aircraft encountered moderate to severe turbulence resulting in an altitude deviation of 500 ft. The turbulence subsided passing 53W and the aircraft was able to maintain the 35,000 ft. flight level once again. TSB Case Closed.
2010-06-22: UPDATE TSB: A10A0062: - An Air Canada Boeing 777-300 flight, ACA874, (C-FIUR), enroute from Montreal to Frankfurt encountered moderate to severe turbulence 325 miles east of Goose Bay while operating on NAT Track "S" at FL350. Shortly after passing LOACH intersection, the turbulence resulted in an altitude deviation of 500 ft. The turbulence subsided passing 53W and aircraft was able to maintain FL350 once again. There were no injuries, damage or flight operational impact.
