Accident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT) (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)
2010-07-30: UPDATE TSB: A10A0060: The privately operated Piper PA-28-140, was on a local pleasure flight in the St. John's Airport area. During a full flap landing on RWY 02 the aircraft touched down hard and bounced resulting in damage to the nose gear, propeller and LH wing tip. The pilot secured the engine and exited the aircraft uninjured. ARFF responded and the aircraft was towed clear of runway a short time later. Weather at the time: Wind 120 degrees at 4 knots, visibility 15SM, scattered cloud 3300 feet.
2010-06-07: C-FZYY, Piper PA28 140, landed on Runway 02 in St. John?s (CYYT) at 17:22Z and damaged the nose wheel on landing. The aircraft was towed clear of the runway.
