Incident at DEER LAKE NL (CYDF)

Summary

2010-05-19: At 19:52Z TKR284, Canadair CL215, enroute from Gander (CYQX) to Deer Lake (CYDF) landed on Runway 25 and taxied to the ramp via Taxiway BRAVO. At 20:07Z, the pilot contacted the Flight Service Station (FSS) and reported that the aircraft brakes had exploded. It was uncertain whether this incident occurred on the runway or the taxiway. At 20:08Z a runway check was completed by STAFF 22. There was no debris found. No emergency service was required.
