Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2010-05-07: Area Control Centre (ACC) Technical Operations received a report from the RCMP that a citizen had advised them of low flying aircraft southeast of Moncton (CYQM). Radar review indicated a VFR aircraft transmitting (squawking) code 4316 at Mode C at altitudes down to 500 ft. Time example: 500 ft. Mode C readout 30 nautical miles southeast of Moncton at 13:36Z. The squawk code was correlated with the flight plan in the system. The aircraft had departed from and was scheduled to return to Fredericton (CYFC).
