Accident at MIRAMICHI NB (CYCH)
Summary
2010-07-15: UPDATE TSB: A10A0041: A Grumman TBM-3E aircraft operated by Forest Protection Limited departed Runway 09 at the Miramichi Airport (CYCH) for a local training flight. About 1340 ADT, on the downwind leg, the aircraft went into a gradual descent and collided with the terrain. It came to rest on the south side of the airport on the edge of an industrial area. The pilot was fatally injured and the aircraft was destroyed.
2010-04-29: C-GFPL, Grumman TBM-3E, departed from Runway 09 in Miramichi (CYCH), and at approximately 1,000 feet entered a left hand descent. The aircraft then entered a spiral dive and impacted the ground vertically. The pilot and sole occupant was fatally injured. TSB investigating.
