Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT) (Fuel - spill, Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown, Aerodrome - runway or taxiway surface condition)


2010-04-27: Two Air Tractor AT 802 aircraft enroute from St. John?s (CYYT) to the Azores (LPAZ) departed from Runway 29 and prior to departure spilled fuel. Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) advised that there was an 800 ft. by 20 ft. fuel spill. Runway 29 was closed via a voice advisory from 12:35Z to 13:49Z. One aircraft was re-vectored to Runway 34 as a result of the closure. Nil TSB.
