Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2010-02-26: JZA7667, DHC 8 102, scheduled for a flight from Fredericton (CYFC) to Montreal (CYUL), reported a problem with the carbon monoxide detectors indicating a gaseous atmosphere. The Emergency Response Services (ERS) responded and found the aircraft completely ventilated. The flight crew requested further testing with a gas monitor. Further testing indicated zero readings. It was reported that a small diesel heater had been running all night that does not run while the aircraft is in flight. There was no further incident.
