Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Summary
2010-03-16: UPDATE TSB: A10A0021: CME101T, a Prince Edward Air Cessna 208B, was on a training flight from Fredericton to Moncton. Near the Moncton VOR, the flight crew advised that they had encountered severe icing conditions descending through 3000 feet and requested priority for landing. The crew reported that they were clear of icing through 2000 feet and landed safely without further incident.
2010-02-19: CME101T, Cessna 208, enroute from Fredericton (CYFC) to Moncton (CYQM), five nautical miles northeast of Moncton, encountered severe icing while descending through 3,000 ft. The aircraft requested priority. The aircraft reported clear of icing through 2,000 ft. and landed safely at 21:36Z. The Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) and the Flight Information Region were advised. TSB Case Closed
