Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2010-02-15: C-FZKG, Piper PA44 180, was cleared for take off on Runway 33. C-GDHS, Beech C90A, one mile final for Runway 33, was cleared after C-FZKG was rolling. C-FZKG aborted the takeoff due to an airspeed indicator problem. C-GDHS was re-cleared low approach. C-FZKG taxied back to hangar.
2010-02-18: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: The malfunction was the result of a pitot cover left on by the flight crew. The cover was removed. An occurrence report was filed.
