Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)

Summary

2010-02-10: C-FZKH, Piper PA44 180, landed on Runway 33 at 19:55Z and was issued instructions to vacate the runway at Taxiway B. The aircraft advised the tower of a flat tire and that it was unable to exit into Taxiway B. Five aircraft in the circuit were moved to Runway 27, including two inbound aircraft from the north. JZA959 was delayed approximately 5-7 minutes. C-GETF (Bell 206B) arrival was delayed approximately 5-7 minutes. The aircraft vacated Runway 33 at 20:13Z. Nil TSB.
2010-02-16: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: A pinhole was found in the tube. Flat tires are still being monitored and tubes are still inspected for damage prior to be added to stock and prior to being build up as an assembly.
