Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2010-02-08: At 16:00Z, C-GMFE, Diamond DA 20 C1, departed Runway 29 in Moncton (CYQM) with traffic visual to follow in the left hand circuit. C-GMFE turned crosswind early towards traffic on the left downwind. The controller corrected the conflict. At 16:08Z, C-GMFE was advised by the controller to conduct a full stop landing due to instructions from the flight college. C-GMFE executed a touch-and-go maneuver instead. At 16:16Z, C-GMFE was instructed to land. The aircraft landed without further incident. Nil TSB.
