Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Summary
2010-02-16: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: The forward heating element in pitot mast was found to be unserviceable. Two new elements were installed. The system was inspected for moisture and a pitot/static system leak check was carried out with no leaks found.
2010-02-08: On approach to Runway 15 in Fredericton (CYFC), C-FZKH, Piper PA44 180, advised of experiencing indications of a plugged pitot tube. The aircraft landed safely at 06:10Z. Nil TSB.
