Incident at Moncton Flight Information Region (FIR)
Summary
2010-02-08: Widespread severe turbulence was reported at most altitudes above 28,000 ft. Applicable TOPPS and south with the worst being off the south coast of Nova Scotia approximately between Halifax (CYHZ) and Sydney (CYQY). DLH427, Airbus A330-300, enroute from Philadelphia (KPHL) to Frankfurt (EDDF), at 31,000 ft. reported a turbulence related altitude deviation of +/- 600 ft. There were no other aircraft in the vicinity. Nil TSB.
