Summary

2010-01-15: At 00:45Z, while approaching St. John's, RCH2834, C130, enroute from Little Rock Air Force Base (KLRF) to St. John?s (CYYT), advised that they had an indication that their nose gear was not down and secure. After a few minutes of troubleshooting, the crew declared an emergency at 01:06Z and elected to conduct the approach. Aircraft landed at 01:20Z without further incident.
