Summary

2010-01-11: RCH396, C130, enroute from Little Rock Air Force Base (KLRF) to St. John?s (CYYT), at 22:35Z, 30 nautical miles from St. John?s, advised that it would have to shut down the number 3 engine. At 22:46Z, 10 nautical miles from St. John?s, the aircraft declared an emergency and shutdown the engine. No assistance was required. The aircraft landed in St. John?s without further incident at 22:54Z. Nil TSB.
