Incident at TOFINO / LONG BEACH BC (CYAZ)
Summary
2009-08-05: The Pilot of Orca Airways Flight LZ107, a Piper PA3 (C-FRDN) IFR Vancouver to Tofino, reported a bird strike over the threshold upon landing Runway 29 at Tofino. There was no damage and staff were unable to locate remains.
2009-08-05: UPDATE from Aerodrome Safety: No further action required. The Tofino Airport has a wildlife program in place meeting the regulatory requirement of CAR 302.
