Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT)

Summary

2008-03-03: ACA654, Airbus A319 114, enroute from Halifax (CYHZ) to St. John?s (CYYT), landed on Runway 34 at 22:24Z. While taxing, the aircraft requested emergency vehicles meet the aircraft at the gate due to a smoke odor in the cabin. The maintenance crew advised that the odor was due to deicing fluid combined with hot brakes on landing which caused fumes to be ingested into air conditioning. Nil TSB.
