Incident at CYAW

Summary

2007-05-04: MRLN 10, Sikorsky S61, operating southwest of Shearwater (CYAW), squawked 7700. Moncton ACC controller queried Shearwater tower who confirmed that the aircraft had declared an emergency and had shut down the number one engine. The aircraft landed safely at 01:59Z. The Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) was advised. Nil TSB.
