Incident at WINNIPEG / JAMES ARMSTRONG RICHARDSON INTL MB (CYWG)
2005-06-14: UPDATE TSB reported that the Air Canada Jazz Canadair CL-600-2B19 (CRJ), registration C-GKEP, operating as JZA 8336, was on approach to Winnipeg, MB. At 3 miles final, a missed approach was initiated. Reportedly, there was a FMS/FCP programming problem, and the landing configuration was late, resulting in the aircraft being too high on the approach path.
2005-06-08: JZA 8336, a Canadair RJ, was 3-miles final approach at Winnipeg when the crew informed Tower that they were going around. The crew flew a missed approach and then landed without incident 10 minutes later at 0150Z. When queried as to reason for the go-around, they advised it was an 'indication problem'. No other aircraft were inconvenienced. TSB has contacted the company.
