Summary

2005-06-17: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the dogs were caught and removed from the property they were not returned to there owners, since they had become a problem at the airport. Besides the brief delay to the departing Saab there were no other interruptions to air traffic. at Rankin Inlet.
2005-06-08: While backtracking for departure on Runway 31 at Rankin, the crew of the Saab 340 operated by Calm Air, reported two dogs on the runway. The aircraft held for a few seconds while the dogs ran off the runway.
