Summary

2005-06-07: UPDATE The aircraft was landed without further incident. This event did not cause any interruption of air traffic at Winnipeg nor was there any reported aircraft damage. The crew were unable to identify the type of bird nor were remains of the bird found.
2005-06-01: KFA 290, a B727, was on descent into Winnipeg on a night cargo flight from Calgary when the crew reported hitting a bird. The a/c was about 25 NM west of YWG and 4,500 feet ASL at the time. There was no damage to the a/c.
