Incident at GAMÈTÌ / RAE LAKES NT (CYRA) (Incursion - runway - pedestrian)

Summary

2005-05-31: AT 206, a Cessna 208, was on final to Runway 32T at Rae Lakes when the pilot noticed a person walking across the runway. The pilot then initiated a missed approach.
2005-06-16: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the Airport Maintainer was advised by the Cars operator that an individual was on the runway. The person an elder of the community was intercepted by the maintainer and taken to the terminal where he was given oral counseling regarding airside operations at the airport. The pilot of Air Tindi (AT206) returned and landed the aircraft without further incident.
