Incident at GRANDE PRAIRIE AB (CYQU)

Summary

2005-05-25: SB 601, a BAe 31, was taking off from Grande Prairie when the crew rejected due to a bird strike. The crew returned to the hangar for an inspection. Airport maintenance staff checked the runway and removed the remains of a Franklin Gull. There was no damage to the a/c and it departed a short time later.
2005-06-07: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that this event did not cause any reported aircraft damage nor was air traffic interrupted. Airport maintenance staff recovered the remains of a Franklin Gull.
