Incident at IQALUIT NU (CYFB)

Summary

2005-05-24: Two minutes after departure from Iqaluit, the crew of NVC 1, a Canadair Challenger, advised FSS of a door problem. Shortly thereafter, they advised that they were cancelling IFR and returning to YFB. Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting vehicles were requested and notified, but an emergency was not delared. NVC 1 landed uneventfully at 1424Z and the a/c was inspected and then taxied off the runway. A runway check was completed with no delays to other aircraft.
2005-05-30: UPDATE TSB reported that two minutes after takeoff from Iqaluit, the crew of the CL-600 registration C-GCFG, reported a problem with a door. A few moments later they cancelled IFR, requested a return to Iqaluit and required the availability of the emergency equipment. The aircraft landed overweight without incident.
