Incident at NORMAN WELLS NT (CYVQ)

Summary

2005-05-19: The pilot of C-FDME, a Piper Navajo, elected to overshoot at Norman Wells due to an 'indication light' and circled south of the airport to troubleshoot the situation. The aircraft later landed safely at 0505Z.
2005-06-14: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that C-FDME was on its final approach in preparation for landing in Norman Wells. The landing gear was down and locked as indicated by the green lights. When the pilot checked the indicator lights again, he noticed the R/H main light was not on and elected to do an overshoot. In trouble shooting the problem, the pilot found a burned out bulb; the bulb was replaced and tested normally. The aircraft landed without further incident.
