Incident at CZUE

Summary

2005-05-18: An ELT was heard on 121.5 through Arctic Radio RCO at Cape Parry (ADIZ Radar Site)between 0004Z and 0014Z. The crew of C-GKCH, a Bell 212, had just called Arctic Radio from Cape Parry for a weather fax package and the aircraft had not been on a flight plan for the past 24 hours so Arctic Radio was fairly certain the ELT was from C-GKCH. Arctic Radio paged the crew and the ELT was turned off. This was the third ELT activation for this a/c in 3 days.
