Incident at PEACE RIVER AB (CYPE)

Summary

2005-10-03: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the rubber bumper that is glued to the shell, part number 1241630-7, came off and was caught in the down lock hook, preventing the main landing gear from being completely locked and making the down lock micro switch.
2005-05-09: During his approach at Peace River, the pilot of the Cessna 210, operating as PE 21, advised FSS that he was having difficulty extending the landing gear. He did two passes over the airfield for visual confirmation that the gear was down. The flight landed without incident at 1518Z and the pilot was able to taxi to the apron without difficulty. No other flights were inconvenienced.
