Incident at THOMPSON MB (CYTH)

Summary

2005-05-09: The crew of CAV 7518, a Saab 340 which was departing Thompson for Winnipeg, rejected their takeoff due to a shimmy in the aircraft's gear. They then taxied back to the apron.
2005-05-12: UPDATE Aircraft Maintenance and Manufacturing was advised that upon inspection, the nose wheel tires appeared to be out of round. These were new tires installed on May 5, 2005. Replacement tires were installed. In addition the nose wheel steering was checked and adjusted, and the shimmy damper was serviced. A satisfactory test flight was carried out and the aircraft released to service.
