Incident at LLOYDMINSTER AB (CYLL)

Summary

2005-05-02: C-FBBR, a Piper Navajo, departed Lloydminster for Calgary and a short time later, the pilot reported that he was returning due to an unsafe gear indication. After a low pass, it was confirmed the gear appeared to be normally extended and the aircraft landed safely at 2246Z. The cause of the gear malfunction is not known.
2005-05-04: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the aircraft's gear power pack failed. The aircraft is in Calgary having the pack replaced by Klarenback Aviation. An SDR has been requested and the owner assured M. & M. that this would be done.
