Incident at SASKATOON / JOHN G. DIEFENBAKER INTL SK (CYXE)

Summary

2005-05-10: UPDATE TSB reported that the Beech 1900C, C-GSKU operated by Transwest Air as TW 1014, was cruising en route when the crew observed fluid leaking from the right engine nacelle. They shut down the engine, declared an emergency, and landed in Saskatoon, SK without further incident. Company maintenance determined that an O-ring had failed in the main fuel line to the right engine low pressure fuel pump. The O-ring was replaced and the aircraft was returned to service.
2005-04-13: TW 1014, a Beech 1900, was inbound to Saskatoon from Regina when the crew indicated that the right engine had been shut down due to a fuel leak. They requested AFF and the aircraft landed safely at 1637Z. Initial information indicates that a failed o-ring on the main fuel line had failed. TSB report to follow.
