Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2005-04-11: As the Air Canada Airbus A319, registration C-FYJP, operating as flight ACA 205, was approaching Calgary, a burning smell was noticed in the aft galley. The smell dissipated when the galley power was shed and the aircraft landed in Calgary without further incident. Maintenance personnel attributed the burning smell to food residue on the coffee maker, and cleaned the coffee maker.
